As the 2021-22 regular season opener quickly approaches on November 9 against SIUE at 7:30 p.m. CT, radio and television coverage of the Marquette University men’s basketball team will also be announced.

the Inside the Marquette Basketball The television program returns this season on Bally Sports Wisconsin and is produced by My People Creative. The bi-weekly show begins Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m. CT and provides access to the team throughout the season. Marquette graduate Sophia Minnaert will host the 30-minute program with the head coach Smart Shaka and the show will include player interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes features and more.

ESPN Milwaukee (94.5 ESPN FM) will once again serve as the flagship station for the Marquette Sports Network, which is overseen by Marquette Sports Properties, a division of Learfield and the media rights holder of the Golden Eagles. Game shows include a 30-minute pre-match show, play-by-play action handled by Steve “The Homer” True and former United star Tony Smith and a post-match recap with Smart .

Marquette basketball time with Smart Shaka, a weekly radio show devoted to the latest news surrounding the program, debuts at 6:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, November 11. True will host the 60-minute program, which includes player and staff interviews, special guests and more, live from Dave & Buster (2201 N. Mayfair Road).

The radio show will air weekly on Thursday nights throughout the season, except when conflicting with game coverage, holidays, or team travel.
