Rylan Clark has revealed he was rushed to hospital as he explains he will miss his radio show again this weekend.

The presenter shared a snapshot from his hospital bed with a cannula in his arm.

He told his followers, “Finally home after a long trip to Costa del Hospital. Slowly on the mend. I won’t be on the radio tomorrow. Rest. Come back soon.”

Fans rushed to offer their best wishes, with one comment, “Aww baby, hope you’re better now!! Take all the time you need, love yourself! Xxx”

“Get well soon,” another told him.

Last week Rylan pulled out of his BBC Radio 2 show, telling fans he was bedridden with the flu.

The 33-year-old will unfortunately be forced to miss another week of his Rylan show on Saturday, which airs from 3-6 p.m.

The star, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2012, reassured fans at the time that he was not suffering from Covid.

He tweeted: “Went out and got the flu (not surprised) in bed for a few days.

“I tested lat and not Covid luckily but won’t be able to use wireless tomorrow. Check back soon x.”

Hopefully Rylan will be well enough to return to the air soon

Despite missing his show for a second week in a row, fans told Rylan to focus on improving himself, rather than worrying about letting them down.

Rylan recently admitted that he felt he might care too much about what other people thought of him and was determined not to outgrow his boots despite being a big celebrity.

He said on Alan Carr’s Life’s a Beach podcast: “I just go with the flow. I can’t complain and I’m embarrassed if I’m with someone and they’re moaning.

“If I spent a little money on a villa or something and it was full of cockroaches, I’d say find me somewhere else, that’s different.”
