Vice President Leni Robredo’s weekly public service radio show “BISErbisyong Leni” will end this Sunday, June 26.
Robredo spokesperson Barry Gutierrez said this week’s episode will be the last in a series that began in May 2017 to address issues around government, justice and public service.
The hour-long radio show, which Robredo hosts with radioman Ely Saludar, airs at 9 a.m. every Sunday on RMN-DZXL 558.
The show “BISErbisyong Leni” had 226 episodes which were also broadcast through the radio network’s regional stations in Cebu, Cagayan De Oro, Davao and Naga City.
“It’s scheduled to have its final episode next Sunday. And the vice president will be there to watch the final episode,” Gutierrez, a lawyer, said in an interview with the ANC.

The spokesperson said they would explore new platforms to replace the radio show even when Robredo finally becomes a private citizen on June 30.
“But you know, in the future, if it’s possible for her to have another show, another venue to get her message across, then that’s something we’ll probably explore,” he said. he adds.
For Saludar, he felt honored as the vice president’s co-host on her weekly radio show for the past five years.
“I am very happy and honored to have the opportunity to work with the vice president, who is such a great leader,” he told the Manila Bulletin.
The work will not yet be done for the outgoing vice-president after she announced the creation of the Angat Buhay Foundation, which is due to start on July 1 and would carry some of her flagship programs.
Upon leaving office, Robredo will also launch a campaign to tackle misinformation and fake news on social media.
