Eoghan McDermott posted on Instagram after a long break.
The TV presenter has been quiet on all social media platforms for the past few months, but last night he posted an adorable dog photo to his story.
It’s the first thing he’s posted on Instagram in a long time, as the last photo on his grid is a photo of him and the late presenter Caroline Flack, which was posted in February 2021.

Eoghan has remained silent on social media since leaving RTE 2FM in 2021.
RTE previously shared a statement on his departure, saying:
“RTÉ confirms that Eoghan McDermott will not return to RTÉ 2FM,” the statement read.
“His contract is due to expire shortly. RTÉ is developing a new direction for the 2FM Breakfast Show which will be revealed in the coming weeks. Doireann Garrihy will remain with the show.”
The former radio host also deactivated his Twitter account.
Eoghan was born in Limerick and grew up in Dublin.
He first joined 2FM in 2014, after working with other stations such as Spin 1038, Global Radio and XFM.
He is also known for presenting TV shows such as TG4’s POP4 and The Voice of Ireland, as well as narrating Love Island Australia for a time.
