Cynthia Albrittonwho like Cynthia Plaster Roulette became famous for immortalizing the genitals of male musicians in plaster, died, Variety reports. She was 74 years old.

Albritton began his career in Chicago in 1968, thanks to a plaster casting assignment from his college art professor. She had the idea to choose the male member, and her first “subject” of fame was jimi hendrix. After the meeting Frank Zappahe became her boss and moved her to Los Angeles, where she found many other willing subjects.

Among its dozens of topics: Jimi Hendrix Experience bass player Christmas Redding, MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, Eddie Brigati of the Rascals, The spoon of loveit is Zal Yanovsky, beach boys drummer and Rutelles member Ricky Fatar, Foghatit is Tony Stevens, Jello Biafra of The dead Kennedys, Pete Shelley of The Buzzcocksand Television guitarist Richard Lloyd.

In 2000, Albritton expanded his repertoire by throwing the breasts of female musicians, including Suzi Gardner of L7 and Karen O of Yeah yeah yeah.

Like Variety reports, Zappa and Albritton decided in 1971 that the casts should be kept in a safe place for future display, and gave them to Zappa’s business partner, Grass Cohen. In 1993, Albritton had to take legal action to get the casts she had entrusted to Cohen back to safety. All but three of the 25 were fired.

Albritton has either inspired or been mentioned in several songs, including KISS’ “Plaster mould” and Jim Croce“Five short minutes”. A recording of a phone conversation between her and the famous groupie Pamela Des Barres Appears on Permanent damagethe first and only album by the all-female group GTOs, which was produced by Zappa. She was also the subject of a documentary titled plaster caster.
