University of Albany basketball coaches Dwayne Killings (men) and Colleen Mullen (women) will appear in a new segment on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays alongside Charlie Voelker and Dan Bahl.

“Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops,” which will also feature selected student-athletes, will be broadcast live from the City Line Bar and Grill in Albany. Fans are invited to join the coaches, student-athletes and the 104.5 The Team, and food and drink specials will be available weekly.

The first segment will air on Monday, November 1, just over a week before the men’s first game against Towson on November 9.

“It’s a great way for the Capital Region to get an overview of our programs,” Killings said in a press release. “Not only will the fans have a new and unique perspective, but it will also give me and my staff the opportunity to meet and get to know some of Great Dane’s dedicated fans in person in an incredible place. “

Mullen thanked City Line Bar and Grill and 104.5 FM for creating the experience for fans of the teams.

“Coach Killings and I are excited to share our enthusiasm for Albany basketball and provide the community with a more in-depth, behind-the-scenes view of our programs,” she said.

The program is the result of an extended partnership between the school and the radio. The 5 pm hour before ‘Drive the Lane’ will also feature coaches, administrators and student-athletes from Albany.
