It still doesn’t seem fair, but here is the Carolina Panthers – the last game of their 17-game season, in Tampa Bay.
Like last week, there is nothing at stake for the Panthers outside of the draft position. Also like last week, the game was altered by the NFL, moving it from its original 1pm time slot.
The Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play at 4:25 pm on CBS (that’s WBTV Ch. 3 if you’re in Charlotte); it was originally planned for FOX. By modulating the game, it will be viewed in the majority of homes across the country as the network’s primary game in the late slot. Tom Brady and the Bucs battle it out for the NFC standings ahead of the playoffs.
